Sometimes, You Have To Leave The Dark Cloud Outside
-
This article makes you think that the court was wrong in allowing this distraught woman's heartless boss to order her to stop talking at work about the death of her daughter. And maybe it was a little harsh, but she would come to work and gnash and wail and walk around depressed and decorated her cubicle with the girl's ballet slippers and two years later, she was STILL doing it. The article's author thinks that the people who complained were heartless and cruel, but imagine coming to work every day and having someone who mopes and cries all the time, even if it might be justifiable. You can't bring your personal problems to work, but she was doing that. What was the company supposed to do? Is it heartless to say that after two years, you have to pull it together and move on at the office? (New York Post; Thanks to Jeff Katz at WXKS (Talk 1200)/Boston for the link)
