So they think they have the gator who attacked a 90-year-old woman and nearly bit her to death, and they'll euthanize the creature. But when they do that, part of you has to ask: What did the gator do besides be a gator? Okay, they're dangerous, and you can argue that we kill other creatures that are dangerous (rats) or even just annoying (ants). But they could also just send this gator to the swamp, because the problem was just that it happened to be in a populated area when it encountered the victim.
