On Second Thought, I Don't Think I'll Order The Sausage
-
San Francisco has a tolerance for almost everything (they're not crazy about conservative people, but they'll put up with practically anything else). And they even let people walk around naked. That is not a misprint. There's a group of hard-core nudists wandering around the Castro. But now, a city supervisor has proposed a bill to ban nudity in restaurants, sort of; you wouldn't be able to just walk in totally naked, and if you WERE naked in a restaurant, you'd have to put a towel or something between your ass and the chair. And this has raised the hackles of the people who think that you should be able to be naked wherever you want to be naked. These issues just don't come up anywhere else. (San Francisco Chronicle)
