The Kindle And iPad Aren't Taking Over Fast Enough
-
A protest at the University of Connecticut is the latest shot at high college textbook prices, and, yeah, if you've ever gone to college, you know how ridiculous it gets. Buying new is outrageous -- hundreds of dollars for a book? -- and professors often require you to buy updated versions, so buying used isn't always practical, either. But if you CAN buy used, that's the way to go. If you're lucky, the previous owner will have highlighted all the important stuff for you. (Daily Campus, University of Connecticut)
