Says here that studies show kids are less likely to get into trouble and are less likely to use drugs and alcohol if they regularly have family dinners. Is that a cause-and-effect situation or might it be the other way around: kids who don't use are more likely to be from families who are closer and would therefore have family dinners? (Boston Globe)
