This guy was up on charges of molesting a girl. He got only two years of supervised probation, no jail time, and the charge will be dismissed after five years if he goes through pretrial diversion, a rarely-offered alternative. Why? because, it appears, he's in the Army National Guard. Yes, that was a factor, says the state attorney; they took into account that he did two tours in Iraq.
