Most 'Experts' Aren't
-
The BBC interviewed a trader who made incendiary statements about how he "prays for a recession" and stuff about Goldman Sachs and it got people riled up about the financial industry and how callous and evil they are. And now it appears that it was a hoax, that the guy -- who appears online as an "independent trader" with no affiliation and primarily someone who holds seminars on trading -- is really affiliated with the "Yes Men" liberal, anti-capitalist hoaxters, and that raises the question: How did he get on TV in the first place? Who booked him? Even if his story IS true, he appears to be far from an accepted expert. Are they that hard up for guests that they'll book anyone with a Facebook page? (You might want to ask yourself that next time you book an "expert" -- have you really done due diligence?) (Daily Mail)
