Big Deal. The Senate And Congress Have Always Been For Sale
-
You need quick cash, you sell your spare stuff at a yard sale (or pawn it). The federal government needs quick cash, so it's considering selling its spare assets, like unused federal land (including islands), buildings, vehicles, toxic waste dump sites (really), and, of course, some television spectrum. There's bipartisan support for this, but doesn't it depend on whether there's anyone out there with the money and the desire to buy this stuff? (New York Times)
