We At The Airline Don't Like To Dwell On, Um, The Past
-
The heartwarming part of the story is how a group of 6 graders, hearing their assistant principal talk about losing her parents in the crash of American Airlines flight 191 near O'Hare in 1979, worked hard to create a memorial for the people who died in the accident, culminating in the dedication this weekend of a memorial in a Des Plaines, IL park. The part that will get you angry is how American Airlines told them to "let it go." One person's tragedy is another company's public relations problem. (Chicago Sun-Times)
