Just Let 'Em Watch 'Hawaii Five-O.' Kids Love That
-
The American Academy of Pediatrics has new guidelines that say that "educational TV" for tots under 2 -- like "Baby Einstein" -- is not good, and even bad, for the kids. They say the DVDs don't stimulate the kids and may stunt their speech development. You know, those "Baby Einstein" things do seem really stupid and sketchy, but all TV? I dunno. I watched TV (okay, blurry black-and-white TV in pre-cable days) when I was in single digits and began reading and comprehending at a very young age, so TV isn't necessarily evil. (Although, considering how I turned out, maybe it is) (Daily Telegraph)
