At Least It Wasn't A Helmet-To-Helmet Hit

Devin Hester can evade every tackle when returning kicks, but the Chicago Bears' offensive weapon couldn't evade some guy's slap to the back of his head at a casino. The guy was standing in back of Hester on line at a cashier's cage, and a surveillance camera showed the guy just reaching out and slapping the back of Hester's head. Reason? None that anyone can determine, although they said the guy "had been drinking." There's a shock. The suspect is, apparently, a big Cubs fan and season ticket holder, which still doesn't explain anything. Two days later, Hester ran one back 98 yards for a touchdown, so the slap was about as effective as the Vikings' special teams coverage. (Chicago Sun-Times)
