Because Fancy Feast Doesn't Grow On Trees

What's more expensive to own, cats or dogs? It turns out that while dogs are a little more expensive, both cost about the same to have and feed and take care of. And that runs into a lot of money. The range, however, is pretty spectacular: dogs can cost between $4,000 and $101,000 for a lifetime, while cats can run between $7000 and $15,000. That includes food, grooming, and health care. But can you put a price on love and companionship? (Chicago Sun-Times)
