I Thought It Was More Like 30 For Most Of Us
-
Research shows that the dreaded "Freshman 15" -- the 15 pounds that college freshmen are said to gain from eating all that junk food and being on their own for the first time –– is a myth. Actual weight gain is more like 3 or 4 pounds, and many students lose weight in that year. I don't think I gained 15 pounds in my freshman year, but that's a miracle, considering how many cheesesteaks I remember ordering at 10 o'clock every night.
