But If You Have To Explain That It's Art And Not A Stain, Is It Really Art?
-
One person's art is another person's mistake, which is how, it would appear, a cleaning person managed to destroy a very, very expensive piece of art in a museum by cleaning away what she thought was a stain that turned out to be not only part of the piece, but, really, the point of the piece to begin with. The area she cleaned was supposed to look like it was damaged by a drip of water –– the piece is actually called "When the Roof Begins to Leak." The artist is dead and the peace cannot be repaired. But it's clean. (Daily Telegraph)
