Can Carl Costa Mesa, Larry La Habra, And Oscar Orange Be Far Behind?

Making a triumphant comeback: Andy Anaheim. Who? Back before Disneyland opened, as a way to cement Disney's relationship with the city where the park was being built, Disney artists created a character -- an unidentifiable animal with a large "A" for a body -- as a promotional mascot for the town. After a long run, someone at the city decided it was old and outdated and phased it out. But nostalgia and retro sensibilities have brought Andy back. Thirty-two bucks'll get you an Andy Anaheim t-shirt. I might have to run over to the store that's selling them and get one. (Orange County Register)
