Fifteen Years Wasn't Enough In The First Place
-
If a repeat drunken driver killed two of your family members, and he'd been sent to prison for 15 years without parole in a plea bargain, you'd be upset that he is getting released three years early due to a court clerical error. He was supposed to serve three sentences consecutively, but paperwork mistakes made one of the sentences concurrent with the others. So he gets to go free to drink and drive again. The D.A. is trying to correct the error, but as it stands, the guy's getting out early. (KATU-TV/Portand)
