Several public interest groups were petitioning the FCC to end sports blackouts, and, well, exactly why is the federal government involved in determining whether a game should be on TV or not? On the other hand, who said there's a public right to see a ballgame? Where in the Constitution does it say that you get to watch whatever football game you want, whether your tax money built the stadium or not? (Sportsfans.org)
