Suddenly, in Love Park, the open space with the Robert Indiana "LOVE" sculpture just northwest of City Hall in Philadelphia, there appeared a giant yellow macaroni noodle emblazoned with "You know you love it." So people quickly figured out it was related to Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, everyone's blue-box childhood dinner favorite. But why was it there? Turns out that Kraft did a deal that helped pay for the city's Christmas... er, "holiday" tree display (Philly uses an artificial tree). Do commercial displays on city property bother you? Does it bother you that a commercial operation gets to squat for a while on city property and protestors get kicked out? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
