How The Grinch Ran A Homeowners' Association
-
I used to live in Bucks County, PA and loved it there, but there are, I will admit, some snooty areas in the mostly bucolic county. One of them is a condo development in the Doylestown area where they fined a resident for using colored Christmas lights. They have a restriction: only white non-blinking lights, and only a single white, orange, or blue light in the window. How festive. Homeowners' associations do, of course, have a right to set and enforce rules, but isn't this a little silly? (KYW-TV/Philadelphia)
