Reminder: These Are Meaningless Youth Hockey Games, People
-
This is a his-word-against-theirs case, involving a youth hockey coach accused of being abusive towards his players. But it's specifically against two players, brothers. And nobody but the brothers and their parents is alleging anything. They say he "scared" the twins and threw a bag of pucks at them after one of the boys scored his 200th goal and kept the puck, which the coach said was piling on the other team. This has become a big dust-up with a hearing and protests, and it raises the question of what the role of a coach really is; should the coach of a youth team be calm and restrained, Bobby Knight, or something in between?
