Lynn, Massachusetts is thinking about joining the list of cities that require cab drivers to speak English. Whatever you think of language laws, speaking English seems like a reasonable requirement of cab drivers, who have to be able to communicate with passengers (and most passengers are going to be English-speakers, or at least it'll be the most common language).
