I'm Sure The Name Came Out Of Neighborly Love
-
A New Hampshire town is mulling a name change for a pond which has been called "Jew Pond" since the 1920s. The name came from a resort there being owned by Jews. A bishop (!) proposed a change in the name. The locals, though, say they're not offended by the name. The locals are mosly not Jewish, it should be noted. (WMUR-TV/Manchester, NH)
