I'd Do It, Too. In A Car. On Land

Normally, people who do these long rowing things, like across the Atlantic or the Pacific, are kind of crazy and you can't really get behind the concept. But how about a guy who, bored with the drudgery of cubicle work, decided on a whim to row from Miami to New York on the Intracoastal Waterway despite never having rowed before? He's planning to do it for charity in a specially-designed boat, stopping along the way to meet people and see the sights. It's a little crazy, certainly a tough goal, but... kinda sounds like a cool adventure. (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)
