Pink Power
-
This middle school girl's parents said that if she made the honor roll, she'd be allowed to dye her hair. She did, and she did, only the red dye came out pink. And when she went to school, someone took her right to the front office before she even made it to her locker and sent her home. They said they had a new policy: Only natural hair color allowed. And to her credit, she told them she wouldn't accept that, and called the ACLU. Result: The school backed down. Really, if they're concerned about disruptions, suspending her or sending her to another school district would be FAR more disruptive than pink hair. (WTXF-TV/Philadelphia)
