What Is This 'Vacation' Of Which You Speak?
-
Says here that a lot of people, according to a survey, don't use all their vacation time. I'm not surprised. We've been "educated" that employers don't take kindly to your absence. That's not why people aren't taking the days, though, according to the survey; It's more about a heavy workload and not wanting to have to play catch-up. THAT, I understand, too. I don't really take vacations, but when I needed to be away from the office for a long weekend last month (not exactly a vacation, but away) and tried to scale back on one of my jobs, I got hopelessly backed up.
