Not How The Family Reunion Is Supposed To Go
-
This guy moved his elderly parents from China to near him in Massachusetts months ago because he was worried about them, and his dad's dementia, and wanted to keep an eye on them. But he didn't expect this: Dad allegedly murdered mom and ate her forearm while chanting "This is not your mother." So, that didn't work out well for the family. Not that Dad is likely aware of that. It does raise the topic, though, of what to do about your parents when they become old, infirm, and in need of supervision. Do you move them to you, do you move to them, do you hire someone, do you put them in a home? What do you do? (Boston Herald)
