A Recipe For Baked Valedictorian
-
Natick, MA put in an artificial turf field at its high school football stadium. That worked for playing games in November, but what about graduation in May? Turns out that the $685,000 field is too hot to hold the graduation ceremonies. Ever been on an artificial turf field when it's in the 80s or 90s and the sun is shining? It's like being in a broiler. So they're moving the graduation up two hours in an attempt to get people out of there before it gets too hot. Maybe they should have scheduled it for night. (Boston Globe)
