Tough People, Tough Town
-
Horrible economy. Crime. Weather. There are plenty of reasons NOT to want to live in Detroit. But a lot of people stay and they all seem to love their town. Why? Because, simply, they like it there. It's welcoming, fun, and, if you're not in the city proper, nice. And it's a loyal, lunch-bucket town. But the city still ranks very low on the loyalty scale, and that's likely because after all the layoffs and the crime in the city, the loyalty's been beaten out of the residents.
