R? It Only Makes It More Attractive For Kids
-
Ridley Scott's extremely highly anticipated "Prometheus" is getting an R rating, which is supposed to be the kiss of death for a summer popcorn blockbuster, because kids under 17 can't go without a parent. Would kids under 17 want to go to that anyway? Maybe -- I would have -- but, you know, kids find a way to get in there anyway. The trick is for the movie to get the credit for it; buying a ticket for a kids' movie and sneaking in won't count towards the box office. (Los Angeles Times)
