Chalk another one up for the Tea Party: Richard Mourdock beat Richard Lugar in the Indiana Senate primary, bringing Lugar's 36-year tenure to an end. Lugar was big on bi-partisan cooperation. He is also 80, and that might have had a little to do with it, too, as well as his perceived aloofness -- he didn't come back to Indiana for Republican events until relatively late in the game, which turned some in the party off.
