Don't Worry About Quality. Just Write
-
Here are writers complaining that you have to write books faster in the e-reader era. They say reader expectations are greater now, and people think that as soon as they finish your latest book, there should be another ready for them. Is that true? Because I wouldn't think it would be any different from what it's always been like. Publishers are even pressuring authors to crank out short novellas to be released for 99 cents before their full-length books are released, just to whet readers' appetites and keep the authors in the public's mind. Do any of these people understand the creative process? (New York Times)
