So That's One American Girl Place Store He Can't Shop At

The most impressive thing about Manny Pacquiao's anti-gay-marriage comments is that The Grove, a popular shopping and theater complex here and the site of taping for "Extra," banned him and said that the comments were enough for them to say "we don't want you here." Now, they may have been reacting to one Bible citation that Pacquiao did not make -- the early reports confused some of the quotes and attributed some to him that were not his -- but either way, while a private business does have the right to refuse service, how is this going to work? Are patrons going to have to submit questionnaires with their political views to earn admittance? Are malls going to scour the Web and make lists of people they don't want? Have they banned neo-Nazis or are those morons just not famous enough? (Los Angeles Times)
