Putting The Tiger Back In Your Tank
-
Your gas includes ethanol, but if it didn't, you'd get a few more miles per gallon, not to mention performance improvement and less damage to your engine. That's the reasoning behind people seeking out the very few retailers selling ethanol-free gas. Some people go out of their way for "pure" gas. Of course, the extra distance you drive for the gas probably eats up the mileage savings. And I don't think it's even legal in many states -- I'd be surprised if ANY stations in California could sell "pure" fuel anymore with all the regulations and "summer blends" due to emissions. Is the quality of the gas in your car important to you? (Fox News)
