Here's Another 'You Can't Say That' Story
-
All copies of a Texas school's yearbook have been recalled after the "R-Word" -- that which is now termed "developmentally disabled" -- was used in a description of a special education program. Surprisingly, the term was in a paragraph that was intended to HONOR the program with a special section of the book, but the word, and the alleged failure of the school to get permission to print some of the kids' photos in the section, prompted the school to recall the books. And now you know another word that has entered the Do-Not-Say list. (KDFW-TV/Dallas)
