What Would Clooney Do?

The parade of really-frequent flyers put off by today's airlines continues with the addition of this guy who has more than a million miles in United Airlines Mileage Plus miles and is suing because, after the merger with Continental, the plan has, in his view, devalued the miles without recourse. And I would join him in the outrage at the way the plan reneged on a lot of perks, but don't all the airline frequent flyer plans have stipulations in their rules that they can be changed at any time? You know going in that they can change, which is why people will hurry to cash in their miles lest the rewards levels be changed to require more miles. (ABC News)
