Make It A Campaign Issue

One of the most inexplicable things about our society is that we haven't figured out a way to ensure that there's always a clean, safe bathroom available for everybody at all times. You would think that the fact that we all have to go would make that a no-brainer. In Massachusetts, a bill is moving forward that would require retail stores to open their private bathrooms to people with certain medical conditions, and that's necessary, but a small part of the problem. There are too many places in public where there is no place to go to the bathroom. We can do better than that. (West Roxbury Patch; thanks to Jeff Katz at WXKS (Talk 1200)/Boston for the link)
