The European commission recently came up with a list of 222 food related health claims approved for use in relation to, what else, healthy foods. And a team of researchers decided to take that list and create the ultimate healthy meal, in a form that could be served by an airline. And here it is: Fresh smoked salmon terrine (good for the arteries, heart, and brain) with a high-fiber multigrain roll, a mixed leaf side salad with extra virgin olive oil dressing, a chicken casserole with lentils and vegetables, and, for dessert, a live yogurt blancmange with walnuts and a sugar-free caramel flavored sauce. as food, it doesn't sound that appealing, but for something that's entirely about health benefits, I suppose you could do worse.
