How About Making It A Dirt Road? That's Environmentally Friendly, Right?
-
Recently, a road near me collapsed in a landslide, sending chunks of the road into the ocean. The road is important because it connects several homes to the rest of society. So it needs to be rebuilt, and that's where the topic comes in: there are 2 ways the state can go to rebuild the street. One he is to use a section of a nearby nature preserve, which would be inexpensive and fast but, you know, environmentalism. Or they could avoid the nature preserve, and that would cost at least $50 million, which, of course, nobody has. So it's nature versus practicality. Which way should they go? (KABC–TV/Los Angeles)
