I Need The Inning Off. Can I Use Comp Time?
-
Strife in Arlington? Not at Cowboys Stadium (unfortunately) but at Rangers Ballpark, where Roy Oswalt, demoted to the bullpen, refused to pitch a third inning in relief in a tie game. He said he'd had enough, meaning he was tired but maybe meaning that Ron Washington wasn't going to get anything more out of him. Clearly, he's not happy. It's interesting, because he was a pretty good team player in Houston and Philadelphia, even memorably playing left field when the Phillies ran out of position players one night. In a pennant race, can a team keep someone who's not happy on the roster? (Dallas Morning News)
