A Twenty Buck Gamble Isn't Too Risky, Is It?
-
Everybody loves Kickstarter, and I know several friends and acquaintances who have done great projects that way, getting funding and making the donors happy in the process. But there are many examples of crowdfunded products that get delayed or never get built, so you're taking a risk. Plus, there's often no address or other pertinent information for recourse. Yet it's a small risk; Most Kickstarters seem to get done in reasonable order. Are you a Kickstarter or IndieAGoGo "investor," and how have you found the crowdfunding experience? (USA Today)
