They did a little test at a Hardee's and determined that dim lights and soft music makes fast-food diners eat less. They bought the same amount but were more likely to eat slower and stop before they finish. I would think fast food joints would want you to eat more, faster, but I guess that as long as they get your money, they don't care if you finish. (Los Angeles Times)
