I guess it's now a tradition for college Fall semesters to start with attempts at world records, and here's UMass setting one for largest seafood stew, a 6,656-pound mess cooked in a one-ton, 14-foot frying pan left over from last year's "world's largest stir-fry." So the moral is that if you want to set a food record, get yourself a big-ass pan and fill it. (WBZ-TV/Boston)
