$2 Million Will BUY You Some Schools
-
A Hong Kong couple says they paid a "consultant" $2 million to get their two sons into Harvard. They didn't get in, so the couple's suing. Now, whatever happened here, it's true that there ARE such things as "educational consultants" who help students, many from other countries, get into Ivy League schools, offering tutoring and guidance and "other services," which may involve directing "donations" to schools that are intended to pave the way for admission. Do you need a middleman to bribe... er, donate to a school? (ABC News)
