Vernon County, Wisconsin has banned cyberbullying, which sounds reasonable until you wonder who's going to determine when simple criticism becomes "bullying." They define it as electronic information sent "with the intent to annoy, offend, demean, ridicule, degrade, belittle, disparage or humiliate any person and which serves no legitimate purpose." So if you want the football coach fired (coughANDY REIDcough) or have a gripe against your kids' teacher or just want to vent about a bad public official, is that now illegal? Do they have the First Amendment there, or are they in some other country now? (Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism via St. Paul Pioneer Press)
