There Goes His Chance At A Spot On Antiques Roadshow
-
This art thief would have gotten away with $30,000 of valuables from a home had he not gotten greedy and gone back for more. He took stuff, brought them to his house, then went back. It's the second trip that did him in; a cop was there investigating the first break-in. They theorize that he didn't know the place had valuable art, and when he found out, he decided to change plans and take that instead, needing multiple trips to do it. I never understand art theft, myself -- isn't it hard to fence that kind of stuff? Don't people know that a particular painting or sculpture's been stolen?
