I'm not sure why it's such a terrible thing that the Pret a Manger lunch-food chain -- they're all over England and in New York and other U.S. cities -- has a policy and rules requiring employees to act happy on the job. I know, it's a little "Office Space" ("Flair"), but if you have a business that requires employees to serve the public, don't you want them to smile and treat people with a positive appearance? So they were a little heavy-handed. As a customer, is it more pleasant for you to get your sandwich and chips from someone who's smiling and positive and courteous or someone who's scowling and unhappy to be there like April Ludgate?
