The Voices Never Tell You To Do GOOD Things, Do They?
-
The thing about people who claim that voices in their head made them do something, like the guy on trial for beheading a woman in an unprovoked attack at a supermarket at Tenerife in 2011 who said the voices "direct how I act," is that you'd think that if those voices are telling you to do something horrible, you'd say no to them, no matter how insistent they are. After all, if someone walks up to you -- even someone you know and respect -- and asks you to randomly behead someone, you'd say no. The suspect here admits he was on crack and acid, so maybe that's your answer right there. (BBC)
