Let The Kids Pay For It
-
The Postal Service agreed to a deal by which Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program sends out books to needy children for free. And every month, some of the books bounce back due to bad addresses. Now, the Postal Service plans to just throw the returned books away rather than return them to the program. Why? It costs them money. How much can it really cost the USPS to return the books? And if the books never make it back to the sponsor, how can they tell that an address has gone bad?
