But Think Of The Jobs It'll Generate Before It Goes Bankrupt
-
This is why, when the government warns of all sorts of inconveniences due to the sequestration, you should take it with a grain of salt: even with the budget crisis, the Department of Transportation is moving forward, considering a $5.5 billion loan to build the high speed train from the California High Desert to Vegas. There is absolutely no evidence that anybody would take this train, or that it's needed it all. In fact, it won't even go all the way from Los Angeles; it's going to start up in Victorville, by which time you're already about a third of the way to Vegas anyway. It's pointless. They still want to spend your money on it. And then they cry poverty. (Fox News)
