Meet the East L.A. Bobcats, a youth football and cheerleading team that has to pay up to $774 a day for added sheriff's patrols and change its uniform colors if it wants to use the park for games. Why? Because of a killing associated with adult fans. And that's because local gangs have attached themselves to youth football, hence the uniform issue. Can't the gangs leave kids alone to be kids?
